Description
Simplicity may seem to define the RA-AC0E collection, but it’s all the subtle details that bring it to life. For instance, the faint sunburst effect on what otherwise appears to be a matte finish on the dial. Or the mirror-like polish of the thin hour markers and hands. In fact, the RA-AC0E is one of few models in our collection that blends the date window color with the rest of the dial. Small details like these lend themselves to the elegance of such a seemingly “uniform” watch. The RA-AC0E is housed in a 40mm, sandwich-styled case that measures 11.9mm thick. Lug to lug it measures 46.1mm. The case itself is polished through and through and flaunts 100m of water resistance. The exhibition case back reveals the Orient caliber F6722 movement which is automatic, hand-winding and hacking.

Beautiful watch, Green face is unique

"I bought this to replace my work watch, which was a citizen eco drive leather strap watch, due to the fact that I was on the verge of replacing the straps again for the 3rd or 4th time. I wanted a watch that was robust and had a metal strap that could withstand many handing washings/hand sanitizing. I loved the dark green face and chrome body/strap contrast and the fact that the strap was fully adjustable and could be adjusted on the fly with no tools. Unlike other metallic straps where you must remove links which are a set size offer no real customization of the fit of the watch, often times too loose or just a smidge too tight, this watch's strap clasp can be moved along the length of the strap to whatever minuscule increments until the fit near perfect. I've worn this watch everyday since I've purchased it in September 2020 and it's been slightly abused and so far no scratches or marks on the body or face. This is my first mechanical watch that I've worn constantly and kept wound, it has made me fully appreciate why other watch makers advertise their accuracy of their time pieces. After several days this watch, for me at least, generally gains a minute or two so to speak. After a weekend when returning to work, the watch is usually off up to 5 minutes. This is something I never experienced with my old work watch that is going on 10 years old. Though a slight inconvenience to set, it is a major annoyance when you think you're on time but are actually 5 minutes late."

"This watch is absolutely stunning when you first open up the box, simply gorgeous. Not only does it keep time tremendously, I love the band, and it is very simple to adjust the the band for your wrist. This was my first Orient watch, and it will certainly not be my last."
